What are the rewarding effects of nicotine that “hook” teenagers in specific?
Once teens start smoking, is it easier for them to get “hooked” again as adults?
What is a recurring secondary effect of smoking, besides lung cancer that should be given some attention???

The rewarding effects are the relaxed yet refreshed feeling that the nicotine provides, and the physical pleasure of it. Part of the pleasure is related to the release of pleasure chemicals in the brain, and part is simply the experience of smoking itself.
If a teen starts smoking, they usually continue into adulthood. If a young child starts smoking and then stops, it is easier for them to pick it up again when they are older.
On the positive side, smoking reduces the risk of colon cancer and Parkinson’s disease, and may treat the symptoms of autism, ADD, ADHD, and Tourette’s.
I will leave it to others to give you the list of the bad effects.
