   Cancer from smoking

   At the winter solstice, when the sun is directly above the Tropic of Capricorn, the sun is south of zenith when viewed at noon from the Tropic of Cancer (23.5* N of the equator). The sun would be 47* south of the zenith, or 43* above the southern horizon.
