How do you cope with cancer in a grandparent?
I just found out that my grandpa most likely has bladder cancer. The doctors won’t get results for sure until next week, but I’m so scared and sad.
If anyone has coped with cancer of a loved one, especially a grandparent you are very close to, can you help me? I believe very much in God and Heaven so I am not afraid of what will happen if he dies. I am definitely struggling to imagine life without him though.
Thank you for any kind words!

Cancer from smoking
with any and all respect, you could cure his cancer.
How long can I smoke?
the only thing that helped me was time to get used to it.
It is the hardest thing in world to deal with my aunt pasted away from it and it is worst feeling i have ever felt.
there is no way to cure it just prolong it and this makes it all the harder.
so just let yourself grieve and if you feel like lashing out at people (which you will) do it.
i had Friend that also lost her mother from it and that was a few years ago and she relapsed went back to her childhood. it is better to with it in you’re own way. Don’t let anyone tell you how to feel. that how i got thought it.
Smoking Effects
My Grandpa is my favorite person in the world, he’s sweet, caring, and funny. But the period of time that I got closest to him was when he had cancer. I remember spending nights in the hospital crying my eyes out and praying. Now he’s healthy and my Grandpa again.
All I can say is stick in there and know that if he does pass away, it will probably be better for him then being sick.
