There are some variables that contribute to determining life-expectancy, but this information isn't available to us. I will tell you what I tell my patients, that have stage 3 and 4 CA. The doctors are not God, and cannot put a time on someone's life. Only God knows the length of time for this man. It also has spread to his liver. Of course there is always chance of remission. Or, the process can be slowed down by treatment. But 9 times out of 10 it's around that area.
