Lung Cancer
It’s the luck of the draw, Wise One. Someone has to be the first in the family to carry the dominant gene for developing ****** cancer. My biological mother, I am told, was the first woman in her family to develop cancer period, let alone ****** cancer. She was 40 when she was diagnosed with ****** cancer, and I am past 40 and have never gotten it, although I am tested every six to 12 months. My doctors are somewhat amazed by this. I thank God. I will say a prayer for your loved one.
Lung Cancer
The link between ****** cancer and smoking is weak. And only something like 10-15% of ****** cancer cases are because of an inherited gene such as BRCA1 or 2.
So what causes it?
No one knows. Some of us manage to find a smoking gun, something we think may have been the cause. Most people never do. It is something she will probably spend far too much time thinking about. We just want to know what it was. Please. We promise we’ll never do it again, even if it’s our favorite thing ….
The bottom line for most of us is — we just got unlucky. But among those who are unlucky (the cancer patients) … you can get a whole lot unluckier than ****** cancer. So it could be worse.
Lung Cancer
It could be the exposure to various chemicals where you live, what one puts on their bodies or in their bodies.
I quit using underarm deodorants that have aluminum in them. I use only organic soaps in my hair. I use shampoo in my hair, but in small amounts and then very briefly.
My wife was diagnosed with ****** cancer, she has family history but does not smoke.
Thank goodness ****** cancer is curable, it is a long process so take it day by day.
I was talking to somebody about cancer, they said that a hundred years ago it would take a lifetime for people to experience as much toxins as we experience living just one day on our planet.
He was a scientist. I agreed. It is in the air around us, the water we drink, and the sun that we lay in to get tanned.
Lung Cancer
Breast cancer is the one thing where ALL females are at risk. Just that even with this info, some are fortunate enough to get it! But even with this knowledge, I still don’t smoke as if I take good enough care of myself, if I get cancer, at least I can think to myself it’s not my fault.
Lung Cancer
Nobody knows what causes ****** cancer. Only 5 – 10% of ****** cancer is hereditary, and smoking is not regarded as a ****** cancer risk.
It’s unusual for someone under 40 to develop ****** cancer, especially where it isn’t hereditary. 80% of those diagnosed with ****** cancer are over 50.
But sadly it happens, and we don’t know why. Although it’s natural to wonder what caused it – it was my first question on diagnosis, ‘What did I do?’ – the experts don’t know. There’s no evidence at all that it’s caused by lifestyle factors like diet or stress.
My best wishes to the person who has been diagnosed.
Lung Cancer
My Mother died from the treatment of ****** Cancer then ,I too was diagnosed with stage one ****** cancer in 2000. .But so far have been able to stay in remission. And I thank God everyday that I have come this far. I too will pray for your loved one. Because, I have lived it. God Bless.
Lung Cancer
Lack of selenium. Toxins and chemicals – the corporations and government are poisoning us on purpose. There are no standards on what can be put in cosmetics and toiletries.
It is preventable and treatable. Check Dr Mercola and Dr Douglass.
Lung Cancer
I have seen a recent theory about the use of deodorant and ****** cancer. Genetics seem to play a bigger role in cancer than anything else, however with no family history, and no environmental factors, this mystery will go unanswered.
