My class is doing a community service project in the next couple months. We haven’t decided on a project yet. I would like to do something where we could raise money for Pancreatic Cancer Research. What are some things we could do? And what are some other causes we could raise money for? I know that I might not get my wish to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer Research so I want other options.

I’m interested in raising money for cancer research (preferably teen cancer) by doing triathlons. Does anyone know of any organizations in the Bay Area in California that can get me started?

I will be participating in the Avon walk for breast cancer this year but i need to raise a minimum of $1,800. i have so far about $500 from donations and the walk is only about a month and half away. andy suggestions?
okay yes i did let everyone here know but in order for me to get the credit for the donations thay have to let Avon walk they are donating to support me.

I recently got quite a sum of money and am planning to donate to assist patients with cancer or cancer research. I also want to make sure that the money goes directly into helping the cause, and not into someone’s paycheck. Plz help me find the most reliable/ best foundations or let me know what you recommend! Less than a week ago, a close family friend passed away from cancer. She has three daughters, all still in school. I myself am only a junior in high school, but want to find a way to reach out to family’s who are affected by family members with health issues without invading the privacy of these families. Any ideas how I can make a difference?

I am considering registering for the 3 day walk for breast cancer in San Diego. One of the requirements in order to participate is to raise a minimum of $2200 in pledges or donations. If I can’t raise the money then I’d have to write the check myself or drop out. How easy do you think it would be to raise the money and what suggestions do you have to do it?

How long can I smoke?

I want to cut my hair to shoulder length and give it to a charity that makes wigs for cancer (or alopecia in general) patients. But the length I want to cut off isn’t long enough for Locks of Love’s requirements. Does anybody know of any other charities that accept hair?

How many people need to be on a team? What is the min and max. I’m trying to form my own team. What about the team names? Does each person need to raise $2,200 or is that by group?
