Is it possible? We found a lump on our dog, he is going into surgery on thursday morning, if it is cancer is it possible that he will survive? It is on his leg so its not near lungs or anything but is it possible? What can i do to help him?
it is a red lump, about the length of a hand from his foot. It is red and he licks/scrathes at it and it bleeds a lot. its about the size of a quarter.

I know that animals get fatty lumps as they get older. The vet says not to worry about them. But how do you know if it is just a fatty lump or it is a tumor?
I do find new lumps and take my dog to the vet. He just feels them and says they are fatty lumps and not tumors. Was wondering how can you tell just by feeling it?

Besides the treatment to give a dog more months to live…is there any successful treatment that would give years to a dog?
I don’t know yet…I will have the results in 2 days.
I am just preparing myself for the worse… because my husband does not want to do the treatment if it’s not proven to work… and I am like totally lost.
