It seem’s to me that after the bomb’s went off, the nuclei did not stop moving, which seems like something that would cause the genetic mutations of now, along with cancer causing mutations.
How long can someone have a cancer and not know it? Can someone be totally healthy and have a cancer?
In other words, if a scientist just had a group of cancer cells could they match those cells to a particular person and the particular organ that was cancerous? Would that match be based on DNA? Or, is the DNA of a cancer cell enough mutated that it could not be connected to a specific patient?
A friend was recently diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia but said that hopefully it’ll be in a chronic stage. Is that good? I thought chronic meant it was stronger or worse. I went online and was doing a little research but it said it effected mostly children, but he’s twenty. I couldn’t find anything on what treatment entails or what chronic stage means. Anyone deal with this on a first hand experience? Is a chronic stage good?
He smokes. A lot.
He used drugs. For several years and on a regular basis.
His mother died of cancer pretty young.
