Sim J asked:

I am a healthy kid. I always have been. My family’s history only has substance abuse issues which im already dealing with. I was woken up last week by a terrible headache (thursday night friday morning). however on thursday night i had been drinking. i drank a little over 40 ozs of beer. Then on superbowl sunday my arm was twitching. not hard body but enough for me to notice and for it to annoy me. I had smoked some weed before hand and sometimes that triggers my anxiety attacks. bad ones. but i didnt ever get one that night. I had a bit of a headache on tuesday night, nothing major but could be attributed to anything at all. my leg also twitches from time to time and i have a soft spot (tender to the touch) on my left temple. But i was also in a fight a few nights ago and i cant remember ever getting hit there but im sure it is a possibility. I dont exactly feel dizzy ever and i was only nauseous once or twice over the last 2 weeks and it was in the morning time. I know all of these are symptoms of a brain tumor but im not really sure what to think. I am known to be a hypochondriac so…idk let me know what you think.

Help, my dog my have cancer?

Lily asked:

I have a 4 year old lab. A few months ago I noticed that he had a lump on right front right paw. The lump would go down and pop back up, about a month and a half ago it got really big and he began chewing on it alot and it would get really red and bloody. The vet said he needed to remove the lump and send it in for a biopsy. I got the results last night and it was cancer, he said stage II, stage I is the lowest and stage IV is the lowest. He took some blood to get a test done to see if the cancer may have spread into his blood. I’m so scared, has anyone experienced this before? The vet said that it was caught early enough so if it did come back positive he would get a series of shots to clear it out. I have no idea how much that would cost, I have already spent about $1500 on getting the tumor removed and getting a biopsy and bloodwork. Does anyone have any information on this, please any information would help.

Two_Seven_Deuce asked:

I am taking a class on ministry to people with cancer and their families. For my class project I want to look at how men cope and what they experience when a wife or child is diagnosed with cancer. Some of the questions are these:
Do men see themselves are protector and provider?
If so, how do they deal with the powerlessness they have when they cannot protect their loved one against cancer?
Does this have an effect on self worth?
If anyone knows if there are any blogs or websites that might help with this project please let me know.
Thanks. and God bless.
