What are some symptoms of cervical cancer?

Kristen P asked:

Well my question is really for someone out there who had been diagnosed with cervical or uterine cancer. I just wanted to know what made you go to the dr in the first place. What were your symptoms?

How can you tell if you have testicular cancer?

haggis asked:

I’m under 18, and I read somewhere that if one feels different than the other, you have cancer. Is this true, and is there anything else that you can feel if you have it?

Love and cancer?

persianchick99 asked:

I did not know what to make of this morning news.
A mixture of emptiness (not knowing what to think)
and shock still pains my insides. My childhood crush, who I haven’t seen in over 2 years is possibly dying from prostate cancer. It has spread to his stomach.
I want to rush over to the hospital this week but I can’t let go of other big responsibilities. I’m forced to wait until the next weekend. To be honest, the hospital visit itself frightens me because I don’t want to see a man I sincerely cared for (unknowingly to him) in such a state. I can’t use the word love (although it felt like it) because I’ve never really known him enough to express my fondness as love. I still remember his shy smiles.
Should I finally tell him, I was the girl who really liked you from a distance.
Or would it be too inappropriate and burry the feelings instead

Why do so many young people START smoking?

Spamela asked:

If there was a food that made your skin wrinkle sooner, made your body and clothes smell bad, stained your teeth, reduced your sense of smell & hearing, turned off people of the opposite sex, cost thousands of dollars a year, and pretty much guaranteed a cancer diagnosis, you wouldn’t eat it, right?

Then why do people start smoking? I work with a lot of recent college graduates, and was surprised to see that so many of them are smokers. Their older coworkers (who kicked the habit long ago) just shake their heads & wonder…

I can understand why people who are addicted to nicotine have a difficult time quitting, but why would someone voluntarily *start* a habit they know has no positive benefits?

Will I get cancer from my mom’s second hand smoke?

InBloom asked:

I’m 20 and she has smoked 2 packs a day my whole life… I’m moving out soon and wondering how this will affect me when I am older. Do you think it probably hurt my lungs alot? I’ve tried talking to her (and crying when I was young) but she doesn’t care if she gets cancer so there’s no motivation to make her stop…
