My mom just found out that she has type II diabetes, 5 or 6 tumors in her liver and 5 or 6 tumors in her lungs. They did a liver biopsy on Fri. and they’re doing a MRI on Monday of her brain and a bone scan and mamogram also. They also want to check her colon. Is this serious? She had cervical cancer about 18 years ago and had surgery to remove it. How many types of cancer and what are the treatment options for her condition. Thank you.

How long can I smoke?

I have a golden lab mix about 2.5 years old. He let me look at this black scab on his chest and it’s about 3/8″ diameter. At first I thought it was a dead tick and when I felt it I got blood on my hand. It has scabbed over again and the dog does NOT want me to look at it again. I’m worried about cancer. Any ideas out there? I can’t afford a vet right now, but will take him if i have to.

Lung Cancer

My sister- in- law survived from breast cancer 3 yrs ago, but she got no idea where she got it. They dont even have a history of any type of cancer in teh family. Today My Mom, sufferring from cancer to the cervix, we dont ahve any cancer history in the whole family. I dont like to have cancer like them, but I am always thinking that no body is safe from cancer. Esp breast cancer.

Cancer from smoking

I ask this because, as some of you know, with every issue of Glamour/Cosmopolitan and other popular magazines, there is always a “catch story” for the month that always focus on cancer of some sort (which freaks me out). And I find that it usually is the recently pregnant woman who discovered a lump in the ****** and boom…the “c” word unfoils. My question is does anyone know for sure if pregnancy is related to ****** cancer in some way? Especially the later you wait? What are some of your opinions?

Well, I am 13, and I have gotten two severe sunburns this past month. My mom said they were pretty bad, and they can cause skin cancer in the future. Is this really true? If not what are the real causes of skin cancer? What are the effects?
