There is a family friend that has stage 4 liver cancer and after a recent scan they have found spots on her lung. She is curently undergoing chemo therapy weekly but the symptoms of the lung cancer is what is alling her. She is short of breathe, fever, cough. Right now we are more interested in cureing the symptoms than the cancer. Is there any treatment out there that would help with the symtoms?

Also she has never been a drinker or smoker.

I know a woman who was diagnosed and treated for thyroid cancer. I don’t believe she went through chemotherapy. I know she’s able to have children, but I’m not sure her doctor would allow it. What is common knowledge as far as this is concerned?

My half sisters grandparent, and confidant while I was growing up has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. What is the proper etiquette if I want to send something to show this person that they mean/meant something in my life. I think sending a “Sorry you are dying” bouquet would be both disturbing and tacky, but I want to demonstrate that I care even though I am far away and we have been out of touch. Any suggestions?
