A dear friend was recently diagnosed with stage 3b breast cancer and had an immediate double mastectomy. They also removed some of her lymph nodes. She had her first chemo session yesterday and she doesn’t like to talk about what’s going on very much. In what ways can I help, support, and love her?
I’m 19, and have only smoked for maybe a year, but my parents always smoked so I got second hand smoke form that mostly all my life.
But I’m just wondering what are the chances of actually getting lung cancer from smoking?
I am writing a paper, and I need to know 1) How many people had cancer in 2008, and 2) How many of those people died from it. If you do not have that information from 2008, 2007 will wok instead.
I am 16 years old, not sexually active, and considering getting the cervical cancer vaccine. My mom and I have talked about it, and she’s talked to her gyno, and we all think it’s a good idea to get it. Just wondering, for those who have already taken it, do you have any opinions on it? Thanks for the input!
my understanding is that you don’t necessarily have to have sex to get cervical cancer…just a small correction there
