I know close to nothing about cancer. My mum has been recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and from the state she is in, my view is that it is too late for any treatment. (Sorry for being vague here, I find it too difficult to describe her body. She is physically extremely weak already).
All sorts of tests are being done currently to assess the situation. Before the doctors give us some feed back, I am just wondering if anybody has experiences to relate. Also, do you know of people who have been saved with chemio “at the last minute”? (In her case, it is too late for all other treatments, as doctors told her). Thank you.

Stage 4 Lung Cancer

My mother doesn’t know she has Stage 4 liver cancer. My mother is a ‘worrier’ – she worries too much. What is the best possible way to tell her without making her depress and thus give up?
The doctors here in Singapore are English speaking. My mother doesn’t speak English. So whatever it is, the doctors will have to go through me to get to her. My mother is staying with me.

What to reply to somebody that just emailed you saying that the doctors found a new possible tumor. She already had gone thru Kimo therapy like ~1 moth ago.
And I forget to mention she lives in Arizona and I live in California so we don’t see each other much at all. It’s just basically by myspace and maybe text. But she’s been a good host to us when we do go down there.

I just found out that my grandpa most likely has bladder cancer. The doctors won’t get results for sure until next week, but I’m so scared and sad.

If anyone has coped with cancer of a loved one, especially a grandparent you are very close to, can you help me? I believe very much in God and Heaven so I am not afraid of what will happen if he dies. I am definitely struggling to imagine life without him though.
